The lobby was decorated with images of former NBA greats and past NBPA player representatives.
For the second straight year, the NBPA transformed a hotel during All-Star Weekend into the NBA players’ exclusive hub during the three days of festivities. This year, it was the Troubadour in New Orleans, a boutique hotel that just opened in December.
The NBPA’s customized All-Star headquarters, called One Court, featured a gaming room, gifting suite, content area, barbershop and a celebration of the union’s history. In addition, the NBPA held its annual Winter Meeting for players at The Ritz-Carlton, where they discussed union matters. The hotel was also the site for a media availability to discuss the recently-completed collective bargaining agreement, the future business of the NBPA and other matters involving the players.
