In his rookie season in 2013-14, Cody Zeller discovered that socks were one of the most desired pieces of clothing for those in need in Charlotte. So he started a month-long campaign that culminated with him delivering socks to The Salvation Army Center of Hope, an emergency shelter in the city. In the last three years, he’s donated more than 10,000 socks. This past week, he tipped off his fourth annual Sock Drive during a Hornets game, soliciting interest from fans, and in January he’ll be stopping by The Salvation Army with the socks.
