On Nov. 9, 2014, Wayne Ellington’s father, Wayne Sr., was shot and killed in his hometown of Philadelphia. Last month, Wayne Jr. hosted his first-ever Peace Games in Philly in response to his father’s death from gun violence, a bigger topic of conversation across the country through recent events and the presidential election. During his time back home, the NBPA was granted exclusive access with the new Heat guard.
