All three players have served on the Executive Committee since 2019, and all will continue with their new 3-year terms effective immediately.
“I am thrilled to have all three of these guys back for another term, especially as we begin to approach another round of collective bargaining negotiations,” said NBPA President CJ McCollum. “Bismack, Malcolm, and Jaylen have been instrumental in helping shape our response to the pandemic and their expertise and commitment to the union will continue to be extremely valuable moving forward.”
“It is very exciting to have Bismack, Jaylen, and Malcolm return as Vice Presidents on the NBPA’s Executive Committee, as they all bring such unique perspectives to this organization,” said NBPA Executive Director Tamika Tremaglio. “Their experience as leaders on the court and as innovators and businessmen off the court make them invaluable resources to the members of this union, and I am eager to continue working with these gentlemen as we reimagine the art of the possible together.”
“Over the last few years on the Executive Committee, I have had an amazing opportunity to learn more about the business of our union,” said Bismack Biyombo. “As an international player, I am very excited to continue serving as a Vice President and to be a voice for the growing number of international players that make up our league. I look forward to seeing how we can continue to grow our game and strengthen our collective platform globally.”
“It has been extremely rewarding to serve on the NBPA Executive Committee and I am humbled that my peers put their trust in me to continue working in this role,” said Malcolm Brogdon. “Our union has made remarkable strides over the years, and under CJ and Tamika’s leadership, I am excited about the direction we are headed and feel confident that we can continue to elevate the NBPA to achieve even more in the coming years.
“As a member of the Executive Committee the last few years, it has been an honor to contribute to these all-important decisions that impact our lives as players on and off the court,” said Jaylen Brown. “I am grateful that the players of the union have chosen me to serve as a Vice President for another term, and I am excited at the opportunity to continue building bridges and setting the tone for the next generation of players.”
