Que Gaskins to Serve as the next President of THINK450

Having served as the interim President for THINK450 over the last year, Gaskins will now officially move into this role


NEW YORK, NY, October 27, 2022 - THINK450, the revenue-generating arm of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), announced today that Que Gaskins will serve as its new President, effective immediately. Gaskins has served as the Interim President since August 2021 while maintaining his role as the NBPA’s Chief Brand and Innovation Officer. He will now officially step into the role of President of THINK450, where he will lead THINK450 through its next stage of growth by maintaining and developing the NBPA brand as a whole, maximizing the commercialization of the players’ intellectual property (IP), and managing relationships with sponsors through the NBPA’s group licensing partnerships, among other responsibilities. 

“It has been amazing to watch the evolution and impact of THINK450, and we are thrilled to announce that Que will be staying on as the new President,” said Tamika Tremaglio, Executive Director of the NBPA. “His expertise in developing innovative and culturally-relevant experiences for our players at the NBPA, as well as his career background in brand-building and business development, makes him a great fit for this position. I am confident that Que will be a strong leader for our championship team and our organization as a whole.”

Since August 2021, Gaskins has served as the Interim President of THINK450 while maintaining his role as the Chief Brand and Innovation Officer for the NBPA. In these roles, Gaskins led the day-to-day operations of THINK450 while also managing the strategic direction for the NBPA in terms of branding, strategy, and marketing. Gaskins first joined the NBPA in 2017 as the Chief Brand and Innovation Officer in charge of overseeing the management and development of the NBPA’s overall brand and creating new and innovative experiences and activations for the union’s members.  

Before joining the NBPA, Gaskins spent more than 20 years of his career specializing in brand-building and marketing, serving in various leadership roles at Reebok, Nike, Def Jam Recordings, and American Eagle Outfitters, among others. In these roles, Gaskins spearheaded marketing campaigns for athletes and cultural figures, including Allen Iverson, Jay-Z, Pharrell, 50 Cent, and more.
