THE NBPA'S BROTHERHOOD DELI IMMERSIVE RETAIL EXPERIENCE SET TO POP UP IN INDIANAPOLIS DURING ALL-STAR WEEKEND

Presented by Chase Freedom, the NBPA Brotherhood Deli is an interactive fan pop-up shop that will be open to the public from February 16-19 at the Circle Centre Mall in Indianapolis during All-Star weekend


New York, NY, January 31, 2024 – The NBPA, through its partnership and innovation engine, THINK450, announced the debut of its NBPA Brotherhood Deli fan pop-up shop at All-Star weekend this year in Indianapolis. Presented by Chase Freedom, the NBPA Brotherhood Deli is an immersive retail experience that will be open to the public from February 16-19 at the Circle Centre Mall on the 2nd floor (units E15-E16). First launched on the concourse of the Thomas & Mack Center in the summer of 2023, the NBPA's Brotherhood Deli pop-up shop gives fans an opportunity to shop and discover brands founded by, invested in, respected, or endorsed by NBPA members.

During All-Star weekend, the NBPA Brotherhood Deli will feature player appearances, daily happy hours, giveaways, and an all-new collection of limited-edition merchandise. As a free-to-enter experience, the NBPA Brotherhood Deli also provides a unique blend of shopping, entertainment, and community, allowing fans to get up close and personal with their favorite players and connect with the brands they love. 

As part of the NBPA Brotherhood Deli experience in Indianapolis, THINK450 will expand the shop with a hidden speakeasy. Accessible within the Brotherhood Deli pop-up shop, the speakeasy will host a Las’ Lap-curated cocktail experience and feature McCollum Heritage 91 Sparkling Blanc de Blancs. There will also be exclusive programming at this hidden speakeasy throughout the weekend, including a private preview, wellness sessions powered by Peloton, an NBPA Post Up conversation with Matt Barnes and special guests, and evening DJ sets.

"The NBPA Brotherhood Deli is more than a pop-up shop; it's truly a destination where the basketball community can come together in a welcoming environment and engage with our members in an authentic manner."


Key highlights of the NBPA Brotherhood Deli:

  • NBPA Member Appearances: NBPA members will visit the Brotherhood Deli throughout All-Star weekend to connect and engage with fans.
  • Daily Happy Hours: Food and beverage samples will be made available from a curated selection of brands championed by NBPA members, including  New York’s Chopped Cheese.
  • Brotherhood Deli Prizes from Chase Freedom: Fans can experience what it feels like to "Cashback Like a Pro" when they play Chase Freedom's 'swipe to win' game to earn prizes. Chase Freedom Unlimited cardmembers can also use their card throughout the weekend to earn an unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase.
  • Play NBA Infinite: At the NBPA Brotherhood Deli, fans will have an opportunity to get an exclusive first look at NBA Infinite, an officially licensed real-time PvP mobile basketball game.  
  • Limited Edition Merchandise: Fans will have an opportunity to shop for exclusive and limited edition NBPA Brotherhood Deli merchandise, including custom hoodies, beanies, and apparel from the NBPA's previously players-only ‘The Sanctuary’ collection. 
    • First developed in 2022, ‘The Sanctuary’ is the NBPA’s offseason player performance retreat that has taken place in the region of Andalucía, Spain.
  • Giveaways: Fans will have the chance to win exciting giveaways, including VIP access to the speakeasy within the Brotherhood Deli and more.
  • Brotherhood Deli Speakeasy: From Friday (2/16) through Sunday (2/19), the speakeasy within the Brotherhood Deli will feature exclusive “Deli before Dawn” wellness programming powered by Peloton. The speakeasy will feature an NBPA Post Up conversation hosted by Matt Barnes and live DJ sets by DJ Trauma.


Access to the NBPA Brotherhood Deli and speakeasy is free, but space is limited. Fans who register to attend at https://nbpa.com/brotherhooddeli will have first access to the programming.

  • Note - Attendees must be 21+ to enter the speakeasy within the Brotherhood Deli.
